Hello All, Feedback manager here.
Given the many comments below I think there is a little misunderstanding about what we at packagetrackr.com do.
What we do:
- We make it easy for you to look up status of your package(s) and see where the carrier thinks they are, in a friendly way instead of navigating to many clunky websites.
- We allow you to review the quality of the carrier for your shipment.
What we can’t do
- Hurry your package along
- Get more info about your package (unless it is a bug in our system hiding information that the carrier’s own tracking system has). Try the “Official track” button to see what the carrier knows. Some carriers have good tracking systems which they use well, others don’t.
- Complain to a carrier on your behalf for loss or lateness. You need to get the shipper of the parcel to do that for you. Sorry.
- Support every carrier (especially postal EMS). We’re working on this, but it means that some package tracking numbers just don’t work here, sorry.
Please note that for international packages (especially postal Express Mail Service “EMS”) there may be 2 carriers involved—the sending country and receiving country. Not all EMS carriers can do end to end trace internationally, it’s worth trying the parcel number in the recieving countries EMS carrier’s system: e. g. Sent from China (EMS China post), received in USA (check with USPS), received in UK (check with Royal Mail/Parcelforce).
Packagetrackr.com is not formally linked to any carrier, we just integrate to their publically available systems and try to do the best we can with the data they provide.
Currently we don’t pass on the carrier review data or comments either (it’s just a guide for you to select a carrier)—If the carrier happens to be looking at it, well that’s nice (but they can’t see the full parcel number anyway from our website)
Please post your comments here with the above points in mind—we want to make packagetrackr.com better by fixing bugs and adding new features. The feedback manager will remove comments from time to time which refer to issues that the packagetrackr.com team can’t address, so we can better focus on what the team can address.
